Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some FAQs with answers direct from James

WHEN CAN I EXPECT THE SHOW PHOTOS TO BE ONLINE?

The goal is to have PROOFS up within 1 week of the show completion – faster if I can do it. It is important to note that the photo that you ultimately purchase will be hand edited by me and may look different from what is in the proof. I do not allow direct downloads of our images because I want to ensure that they look the way I would want them to if I were receiving them.

WHERE CAN I FIND PRICING AND GENERAL INFORMATION?

Prices will be listed clearly on the website and will be finalized the week before the show. As we show our own dogs, we are aware of what other photographers are charging and we keep our prices competitive – extremely so, given that we hand touch each photo and don’t just allow them to go out on direct download.

CAN I REQUEST MY WIN PHOTO BE REMOVED FROM THE GALLERY?

Absolutely!

HOW DO I PAY FOR A PHOTO?

Visa/MC/AMEX or Check.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET PHOTOS AFTER PLACING THE ORDER?

Orders are fulfilled on a rolling basis (first come, first serve). My goal is to have the order processed and sent to the fulfilling company within 72 hours. There may be times when that goal is optimistic – particularly right after the show.  All print orders are sent out for fulfillment to a local company here in New York City. They ultimately finish the photos and sends them – so unfortunately, we are dependent on them.  My experience has been that they are generally able to complete their end within 7 days or so of receipt.  Last, they will ship it out via First Class Mail.

I pride myself on being easy to deal with and eager to please. I want you to be happy with your photos – please don’t be afraid to reach out to me if something seems to be taking too long, or if something is not completed to satisfaction.  We will work with you to make it right.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET TE DIGITAL IMAGE AFTER PLACING THE ORDER ?

My goal is to complete the order in about 72 hours after the order has been placed. Because the file is a digital file, I will be sending it directly to the email address on file.  PLEASE make sure you include your CELLPHONE number on your order so we can chat if there is something I want to change with the image.  As mentioned previously in regards to the prints, my 72 hour process completion goal may be optimistic immediately after the show.

There may be a situation where photos from the Nationals are being used for publication with one of the usual suspects. I will attempt to keep customers and potential customers alerted about deadlines for completing orders on our own website and, if possible, on the SCA 2025 FB page.  We will do everything we can to help have photos available for any publishing deadlines.  Please help us by ordering as soon as possible.  We want everyone to be happy and we know that this can be a tense process.

ARE REPRINTS AVAILABLE?

Absolutely!

CAN CHANGES BE MADE IF THERE IS AN ERROR ON THE SIGN BOX?

Of course.  At the 2022 show, for example, we had to add new titles on some of the Obedience/Rally dogs. It’s not a problem.  Please just send us an email and we will fix it. Changes that require more post processing may take a bit more time to provide.
