Early Bird Deadline – June 15, 2025 Final Deadline – August 15, 2025
A Pedigree Book will be included with each catalog sold at this year’s National Specialty. The Book contains four separate sections:
Pedigree Section: For breeders and owners who wish to honor the dogs of his or her kennel. A valuable resource for learning and chronicling the ancestry of our breed. All dogs will appear in alphabetical order by kennel name.
Memorial Section: For those who wish to honor the life of his or her dog. All dogs will appear in alphabetical order by kennel name.

Performance Section: For those who wish to honor the accomplishments of his or her dogs in performance venues. All dogs will appear in alphabetical order by kennel name.
Open Advertising, Including Covers: Any advertisement (brags/litter announcements/business/etc) with no set formatting style.

This is a template ad that is assembled for you. Ad is full page and will include ONLY the following information:
• Dog’s full name with titles
• ONE black and white photo of dog (people and win placards will be cropped/edited out)
• Dog’s call name
• Registration number
• Birthdate
• Gender
• CHIC# OR Health clearance numbers (Hip, Eye, Cardiac, XL-PRA & RD/OSD)
• Name of breeder(s)
• Name of owner(s)
• Email address
• Three generation pedigree
Performance Ads
This is a template ad that is assembled for you. Ad is full page and will include ONLY the following information:
• Dog’s full name with titles
• ONE black and white photo of dog (people and win placards will be cropped/edited out)
• Dog’s call name • Registration number
• Birthdate • Gender
• CHIC# OR Health clearance numbers (Hip, Eye, Cardiac, XL-PRA & RD/OSD) • Name of breeder(s)

• Short bio (200 words or less) of dog’s achievements
Memorial Ads
This is a template ad that is assembled for you. Ad is full page and will include ONLY the following information:
• Dog’s full name with titles

• Dog’s call name
• Registration number
• Dates of Life
• Gender
• CHIC# OR Health clearance numbers (Hip, Eye, Cardiac, XL-PRA & RD/OSD)
• Name of breeder(s)
• Name of owner(s)
• Email address
• Dog's sire and dam
• Short bio (200 words or less) of dog's life
Open Ads
This is an ad that is submitting as Print-Ready. It is a full page, back and white ad. It may include any information such as special wins, upcoming litters, business advertisement, etc.
Finished document size 8.75” x 11.25”.
There are three cover spots available on a first come, first served basis: (1) Inside front cover, (1) Inside back cover and (1) Back cover. Contact Cindy Hill to reserve a cover option.
All open ads are to be submitted as Print-Ready and will be published exactly as received. No editing or changes will be made.
If you need your Cover or Open Ad created for you, independent design services are available. Contact Cindy Hill to coordinate.
**On all Pedigree, Performance and Memorial ads, NO other information will be permitted.**
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
**If a dog has been in a previous year’s pedigree book, their information does not need to be resubmitted. Only updates are needed. Contact Cindy Hill to confirm dog’s info**
To submit information for Pedigree, Performance and Memorial ads, use the store form or downloadable form provided on the website.
Submit Open and Cover Ads in a PDF, PNG, JPG file format. These are to be Print Ready.
A minimum of one proof will be provided via email for each ad purchased with exception to open advertising that is submitted as print-ready.
Photos may be submitted in digital format (300 dpi or greater, JPEG or PNG) or sent by mail. Original, un-cropped photos are preferred. Photos for Pedigree, Performance and Memorial ads will be cropped to show only the dog. Please let us do the cropping.
We are not responsible for the quality of your photo if these guidelines are not followed. All photos must be received by AUGUST 15, 2025 and all mailed photos will be returned by mail. If you are mailing a photo there is an additional fee of $5.00 to return your photo by mail.
